First Aid

Surgery can have many potential issues involved with it including how you feel about it. Your emotional state can effect your short and long term recovery as well as your experience of the surgery itself. Aconite and Ignatia can both operate on the emotional levels. The remedies listed below can and probably should be taken in a higher potency, 30c or above, prior to surgery. Especially if the surgery works with deeper tissues or you are experiencing anxiety or distraught.

Surgery:
Arnica Taken prior to and after surgery to help reduce trauma.
Aconite Prior to surgery to help with associated fear. After surgery if patient has a chill from the operating room.
Ignatia After the surgery to help with grief or the feeling of loss.
