- Care for Homeopathic Kit

How do I care for my homeopathic kit?

Because homeopathic remedies work on such minute levels they are rather susceptible to their environment. In other words you can ruin or antidote a remedy before it has even been taken.

Things to avoid exposing your remedies to include:

  • Direct sunlight
  • Strong odors (cleaners, mint, camphor)
  • Temperature extremes (especially heat)

A car is a natural place to store emergency remedies like Arnica, Aconite, Symphytum. A tincture seems to be less susceptible to heat and may fare better in you car.

When taking a remedy do no touch the inside of the cap. Do not transfer pellets back into the original bottle from anything but the cap. If you are using a tincture make sure not to touch the tip of the medicine dropper to anything except the tincture in the bottle itself.

In other words try to choose a place to store your remedies out of direct sunlight, away from strong odors, and at room temperature.
